The School of Languages and Culture (SCL) isateaching center responsible for language education of international students at Tianjin University of Technology (TUT). It warmly welcomes students fromaround the world who wish to learn Chinese.

In addition to studying Chinese and various disciplinary courses, the international studentshave the opportunity to explore Chinese culture through learning Chinese Kungfu, Chinese painting,Chinese calligraphy,and Beijing Opera. They can also   go travelling and sight seeing to gain a better under standing of Chinese culture. Currently, TUT has enrolled international students from over twenty countries, including South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, India, Nepal, Turkey, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Poland, Pakistan, South Africa, Israel, Ghana, and Cameroon. It has forged productive and cooperative partnerships with many universities and educational institutions worldwide.
