The School of Languages and Culture (SCL) isateaching center responsible for language education of international students at Tianjin University of Technology (TUT). Itwarmlywelcomes students fromaroundthe world who wish to learn Chinese.

In addition to studying Chinese and various disciplinary courses, the international studentshave the opportunity to explore Chinese culture throughlearningChineseKungfu, Chinese painting,Chinesecalligraphy,andBeijing Opera. They canalso gotravelling and sightseeing to gain a betterunderstandingof Chinese culture. Currently, TUT has enrolled international students from over twentycountries, includingSouth Korea, Japan, Vietnam, India, Nepal, Turkey, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Poland, Pakistan, South Africa, Israel, Ghana, and Cameroon. It has forged productive and cooperative partnerships withmanyuniversities and educational institutionsworldwide.
